Welcome to an interactive Mars panorama courtesy of the robotic rover Curiosity! Click below to see. This image, a combined effort of NASA, JPL-Caltech, MSSS, and Mastcam, is of a location known as Point Lake. While it is highly unlikely that Point Lake contains any water today, Curiosity will investigate whether it once did. It will also search for signs of life. Curiosity arrived on Mars last August and has already discovered numerous dried streambeds. In the next few years, it will ascend nearby Mt. Sharp and continue its scientific journey.
