December 2010: Where better to go in the dead of winter than Iceland! This gallery contains photos from a quick trip through a stretch of the island nation. After exploring the capital and largest city of Reykjavik (where everyone who walked into a bar looked like a rock star), we drove along route 1, the ring road that circumnavigates the country. We stopped to photograph waterfalls, glaciers, beaches, lakes, and more, all in the cold depths of December.
